Riku is Natsume childhood friend, she love Natsume despite Natsume love to either Maria or Eliza. she is the original owner of Avalon. 12 years ago when Natsume going picnic with her and Daichi, he fell of from the cliff and loses his right eye. Riku who felt guilt because she wasn't capable of to save Natsume giving him, her right Avalon to him, thus grant Natsume a power to understand Acursed's power and use it for his own power.

since she is an Avalon owner, she also own her own Acursed. it is revealed that her Acursed is Daichi. Daichi was created when Riku still a child give her an unstable emotion to bear Daichi existence. the reason why Daichi is created in the first place is still unknown up till now, or rather what despair that Riku had that trigger Daichi birth is still unknown.
